Thomason Automatic Foil Cutting and Sealing Machine, model ARIA with indexing movement of the star-wheel, one Foil Cutting and Sealing Head for aluminum and plastic foils on bottles and jars, plastic or glass. Mechanical indexing movement of the star-wheel controlled by inverter for rotation speed adjustment and smooth operation. ARIA is a very flexible machine and is ideal for low to medium production industries for Food Stuff, Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, Dairy. The ARIA can be supplied as a stand-alone machine or combined and connected with our filling machines. If is connected to our fillers, the automation is controlled from the PLC of the filling machine. If the machine will be supplied as stand-alone machine, is offered with PLC (B&R) and colored TFT touch screen (6') for user-friendly operation and parameters adjustment.

The foil cutting and sealing process is done at the same time to avoid movement of the foil from the bottle/jar neck center. Adjustable sealing temperature by thermostat control. Adjustable sealing period according to foil and bottle material. Adjustable height of the foil cutting and sealing head to accompany different bottle sizes. Rewinder system with electric motor for the scrap foil. The machine outside frame and doors are made out of Stainless Steel 304 and where is needed we can offer construction made out of Stainless Steel 316L.
Easy and quick change over from one size of bottle and foil to another with quick release change parts. One the same base can be installed also a Single Head Capping Unit for any kind of closure with automatic cap shouter. This system is minimised space requirements. Safety guards in one Stainless Steel structure incorporated together with the machine base and with its access doors for maintenance and adjustments, in Plexi-Glass, controlled by Safety switches for security. All in accordance with the European Community safety regulations (CE). The ARIA model can be offered with single cutting head for outputs up to 2800 bottles/jars per hour and with twin cutting and sealing heads and twin star-wheel system with two inlet and outlet conveyors, for outputs up to 5000 bottles/jars per hour. The output depends on the bottle/jars shape and the filling product for spillage purposes during rotation of the star-wheel. The same model can be offered also with linear process with multi foil cutting and sealing heads for higher outputs when is needed. For unstable or irregular shape of bottles/jars we are offering bottle pockets system with endless return conveyor.
